Positive Talent Strategies provides high level strategic HR support in a number of different formats and designs that can be customized for your company's specific needs. The following descriptions outline a few of the ways you can use these services:

Part -time, month to month or retainer:

Small companies who need experienced strategic HR support on a regular but part-time basis to identify, design and implement people related programs that will have the most impact on business performance and provide executive level advice to senior leaders.

Project or interim support:

Companies who have a short-term senior level vacancy, or who need an experienced capability to design, implement and/or oversee a special program or project.

HR Coaching:

Companies who wish for their HR function to perform at a higher level or HR leaders who wish to improve their ability to deliver more value to company performance may chose short term or long term coaching of an existing HR leader or team to increase strategic HR knowledge and skills. We will assess current skill level, identify opportunities to enhance HR performance, provide knowledge transfer and coach to ensure optimal implementation. This is a form of career development in a coaching format.

HR Start-up International or Domestic:

Companies who need to develop an in house HR function either domestically or in a new international location.

  • Identify business needs and requirements
  • Source quality candidates for HR leadership and staff positions
  • Follow a comprehensive model to identify and prioritize the HR capabilities required
  • Establish a strategically focused planning process and assist in the development of the first year plan
  • Coach newly hired HR Leader and/or team for 12 months to ensure quality implementation and ongoing execution
  • Provide Executive HR Consultation to Senior Leader(s) during course of the contract

HR Transformation:

An energized positive group change process focused on transforming Human Resource Teams to develop a strategically focused HR function and increase their capability to impact business performance. This may also be used to enhance current performance as a preliminary step towards becoming fully functioning business partners.

Executive On-Boarding:

This comprehensive process is designed to increase the likelihood of success of new external executive hires and increase their early productivity. This approach works with hiring managers, peers and direct reports of newly hired executives to promote short and long term success.

Data tells us that 40 % of external Executive Hires fail in the first 18 months of employment. Research has revealed that actions taken (or not taken) in the first few months of a transition directly impact eventual success or failure. In fact, the research suggests that effective on-boarding may be even more important to success than the actual selection of the candidate.
